Baked beans, what?

With the new addition to my little family, we'll call it "gas" lovingly, I've avoided all bean products like the plague. I get it, it's good protein, I should eat it up, but my stomach already hurts day and night from the gas trying to explode from my body as if I'm an extra from freaking Dreamcatcher (terrible movie reference, go me).

Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuut. I blame benchilada for turning me onto Heinz curry beans during an episode of So You Don't Have To (a lovely video...blog? where in he and several friends, but mostly he and his lady love, try strange things from a can, bottle, all with mystery ingredients, strange smells, and intrigue, trust me, it's intrigue, really). NOW since I'm not sure I could hunt down Heinz Curry Beans (here I'll cap it to make it sounds like it's a real title or something) I've moved on to the idea of how hard can it be to mix curry ideas into beans? Then either put it on toast (my God Brits, toast, really? I LOVE YOU!), rice, or just directly into my face.

Am I crazy? Could this just work? God I hope so. This is my I'm willing to stink up every room I come near for this lovely food connection.

For now I'm trying to refrain from grabbing a can and eating them cold just because I miss beans so much, but I refrain. Dentist in the morning and I work at a different store tomorrow night. Just seems cruel.
