Long, Interesting but Good Day
Yeah... it turned out to be an okay day. Natey behaved rather well at his appointment and passed the hearing test with flying colors. We were nearly an hour late though... whoever mapped out the streets for Elyria must've been drunk or incredutastically stoned off their ass - cuz there is a "Broad Street," an "East Broad Street" and a "West Broad Street." And all the street numbers for those "Broad"s run into each other! We got so frustrated and confused, but thankfully Natey was squeezed in instead of having to reschedule. We went to McD's for a bit of lunch/dinner and then we came straight home. As soon as we got home, Katey nearly sucked down a 7oz-er in 10 minutes and I got to watch all but 10 minutes of Passions (we got the West coast NBC channel too, so I can watch the same episode of it twice in one day if I wanna) before the satellite decided to crap out for awhile.
One gripe: I am tired of being my dad's "primary contact" ~ cuz every farkin' time my dad misses an appointment with someone, they call me to inquire about his whereabouts. I love my dad and I try my damnest to keep tabs on him, but I am not his secretary, people! Grr!
Oh, but one good thing: Mother's Milk Tea* (Jon bought me a box on Sunday... drove all the way out to the Giant Eagle in Rocky River at midnight-ish to get it too - I love mah man!) is doing rather well for me... I've been drinking 3 cups daily since yesterday, and mah boobies are liking it muchly! And with just a small spoonful of sugar to cut the slight bitterness... it tastes very much like Sleepytime tea! And, get this... it's covered by EBT! Isn't that gr00vy?! =)
Not much else... after I'm done with my tea, me thinks I'm gonna lay down and rest for a bit.
