Brief *yawn* Update (Part 2)

I haven't been online in quite some time, yes, I know. The main cause is that my internet connection hasn't been consistently reliable lately. But even if this computer was perfectly compliant, I doubt that I would have been posting much anyhow. Why? Well... being a mom to 2 kids now is taking some adjusting. Now that I'm breastfeeding, I am literally "on tap" 24/7. And I'm not allowed (as per doctor's orders) to pump and feed via a bottle for about 3 to 5 more weeks, to avoid Katey from getting "nipple confusion." And I understand it, I really do... but Jon is anxious to feed Katey for the first time (for more of Teh Bonding), and I am so tired that I'm getting anxious for it too! Especially now since she "cluster feeds" all night long now due to her appetite going through the roof once it cools down... and usually that's when it's around 9 or 10pm.
I'm living in a heat wave, a mind-melting heat wave...
And poor Natey is sick... I think he has a really bad cold or something... nothing too major. So his lil eyes and nose are running but today is the first day that he hasn't been too terribly whiny. So hopefully that means that he's getting better.
My MIL flew in Sunday afternoon... she came to help me get adjusted to being a mom all over again. She's also helping me get my house organized, and then it'll be easier to clean and keep picked up. Seriously, I don't know what I would have done if she wasn't here.
I finally got to see my dad... While Katey & I were still in the hospital (I think it was Day 2), Jon went and signed my dad out of the nursing home for the afternoon and took him over to see us. He was so tickled to see his lil grandbabies... and finally being able to visit with him face-to-face really allieviated the guilt I had been feeling over his situation.
Uh, I must go for now... mah boobs are leaking, which is a sign that it's Nibble Time for the Katey Bear! There is so much more to write about, but...
