Today was... alright.
Decided not to send you messages.
You seemed busy. Dont know.
Woke up at nine...
Went to Classified for breakfast...
Got some chocolate milk...
Was a nice morning (:
But then in the afternoon...
Read about the Times Higher Education’s list
Of the world’s top universities for 2011-2012.
I only read about the top universities in the UK.
Cause even if I were to leave Hong Kong
I'd be going to the UK.
Oxford's 4th.
Cambridge's 6th.
Imperial College's 8th, which both my mom and dad used to go to.
University of Hong Kong's 34th.
I know I shouldnt be thinking about the list too much
Cause it doesnt prove that the University of Hong Kong sucks...
But it's true that... the top 3 universities in the UK are better.
Both Cambridge and Imperial College are ideal places
To study science.
... And so I talked with mom.
It was so confusing...
Which I guess is why I hate planning for the future.
You just dont know which move to make...
You just cant connect the dots of your future.
... So IF. I stay in Hong Kong.
The only reason I'd be staying is because I've decided to be a doctor.
What if I realized that I'm more interested in... say... engineering... who knows...
Then what.
Cause I'm pretty sure studying in either one of the three universities...
Will be so much better than staying in Hong Kong and
I'll learn so much more...
Sigh. The main problem here is that mom wants me to work in Hong Kong in the future.
Which is why if I decided I am going to be a doctor I shouldnt leave at all.
... But this is only my second year studying physics... and chemistry and biology of course.
How would I know which specific area I'm interested in yet...?
... And yet the decision has to be made.
Cause if I'm leaving.
I have to leave next year.
... Damn.
I really dont want to decide.
But then doesnt matter.
I'm pretty sure in the end I'll decide not to go.
Being the stupid person I am.
I'll probably make a last-minute decision.
That I wont go.
Just because I dont want to.
Just because I dont want to leave you.
And to think about it...
If I were to leave next year...
That'd mean less than a year left for me and you.
... Uh huh.
No way.
... Yea I'll probably stay.
