Thursday (6/22) - We went to go see A.F.I. at Roseland Ballroom with a few of Brontis friends. It was soooo friggin' packed! I've never seen a line wrapped around the block at Roseland before! and because it was soo packed it was super hot and sweaty in there...I actually heard someone comment on how they were soaked in other peoples sweat...ewww >_<
There were 2 opening bands, the first 'Nightmare of You', they were pretty good, I think they just don't sound as good live though. Then 'The Dilligenger Escape Plan' came on, they were nice and angry and started a mosh pit, which we quickly ran away from......no, I'm not a wuss, I just think mosh pits are lame. Then A.F.I. came on! They are really good live, everyone was going nuts, we were all screaming our lungs out, it was awesome.....I got separated from Brontis AND I got kicked in the head by some chick that was crowd surfing that fell flat on her face immediately after (hehe). It was a badass concert and I really enjoyed myself :)
I wanted to see FLA last month, but I had plans, and then I heard they canceled their show anyway, anyone know if they'll be playing in NY again?
Anyone know of any good concerts coming up? I think next on our list is Goo Goo Dolls, Warped Tour, and VAST.
