Mr. blue sky, please tell us why you had to hide away for sooo long, sooo long, please tell us why. Hey you with the pretty face, welcome to the human race. Hey there Mr. blue we're so pleased to be with you, look around and see what you do, everyone smiles at you. Mr. blooe skie, Mr. blooe skie.

Sad sad sad. Farm good, distractions good, must weed all, till, cultivate and destroy. Damn words, mute em out and they're gone. Dead. Ha ha ah, as I like it. I wonder if sam reads any live journals. That is a question I'll have to ask him, or perhaps it would be better left a mystery. joanna's picking me up tomorrow to meet Charles and Sam to go to Six Flags. After reading joanna's live journal entry I'm now slightly nervous about this car ride, I mean, how will our first conversation be, dig? It's on now joanna, it's on now.

Anybody's choice, I can hear your voice, wooh ohhh what I want to know how does the song go... come here uncle johns band, by the river side, got some things to talk about, here beside the rising tide, come here uncle johns band, come along or go alone he's come to take his children home...

So as a group of mostly small farmers and interns wandered about the fields of the "small farm institute" we got a chance to look at probably twenty five tractors, "proper plowing technique" etc. Our tourer, a mid sixties to mid seventies year old man was obviously some sort of tractor freak who had the financial means to impulsively buy old machines, as well as the ability to de-dilapidate them. As the tour came to a close, and Kathy and I went out to dinner before the long drive back to MA. Shortly before we get in the car to drive to the restaurant I put my hand it this rich, black compost pile. Well, I still don't know what it was that my hand went into, (perhaps either rotting grain or some form of manure), but it created the worst stink on my hand. I din't really notice the smell fully until we get driving. As we pull into the parking lot and coincidentally run into some of the same people that had been at the tour before, this stink emanates from my hand, the very hand that I was using to greet people with. I never was sure how bad it was to smell, but I'm sure my lack of deodorant, farm shoes and composted hand would have scared off anyone other than fellow local farmers.

come as you are, come as you were, yes I want you to be, as a friend, as a friend, with no enemy, take the time, hurry up, the choice is yours don't be late, take a rest as a friend, yes with no enemy, enemy, enemy????
