Today I had the pleasant opportunity to hang out with Hugo's big Brazilian family. His little brother was busily playing with his friends, while one sister sits in a diaper on the carpet watching Sponge Bob, while the other watches all with the eyes of a 5 year old. The grandmother walks and tends the apartment with her petite, wringkled and beautiful features, warmly scolding her kin for their indolence.

Hugo and I watched Kill Bill vol. 1, which has a sadistically wonderful combination of samurai style swordfights and twisted deposits of a story. I await the seeing of the second movie.

I seem to click well with Hugo. We compete very well together athletically, and he's interested in interesting things, which might sound stupid, but a surprisingly large number of people really aren't. It's funny watching him with girls; puberty at age 18 big time. But what's wrong with that? He just likes girls, a lot! (at least he hasn't asked out over half of the female Union Ave. Friendly's employees like our new cook Justin has). We shall hang out again soon, which is convenient because he practically lives nextdoor to Charles. Perhaps I will explain my political outlooks to some degree or other and see where he stands.

And in the news (to borrow from Craig Killborne(?):

Zoe called me and left a message. Yay!!

V and her kid are ok

I still haven't gotten tickets and am getting rapidly more nervous about my irresponsibleness regarding this subject actually screwing me.

The Iraqi people must be getting sovereignty one of these days, right? LOL LOL LOL

Why is it that these damn Republicans keep getting us into these uncomfortably precarious situations? I guess we should vote Dem. this year...I mean Kerry at least has some combat experience, unlike Bush, and can handle the terrorists. And when he starts hacking at social security and living standards in general, at least he'll be remembered as the lesser of two evils. We shan't burden our minds with guilt over his international atrocities to come, because he must be more sane than Bush. While he starves the world and feeds us lies, keep in mind his rationality, and the sour taste of being had will be milder, if at all present. And as gas runs out and we reach the brink of world nuclear war, let us assure oursleves that we did all that we could, that we voted Dem.

Well I hope I satisfied my anti-Democratic Party rant craving for a while.
