One more week of term break left ! Many acivities/outings/events etc, not enough time ):
I'm going back to perform with AHS Choir for their concert. Went back for my first practice yesterday, it feels really great to be there. Even though i'm not very close to those newcomers, but still, it's like one big family. The feeling of singing again is simply fascinating, I havent been singing all those choral songs for a period of time already, and without warm-ups yesterday, there was this slight difficulty for me to reach a high F. I haven't been singing anything in that range for months, and months. I was even afraid that I couldnt sing anymore, like chorally. I wasnt some exceptional singer throughout my 4 years with AHChoir, but i've truly enjoyed myself alot. AHChoir is like a family to me, a place where I grew up really. A place where i've learnt many things, gained experiences, met new people and a place that let me come across many different situations, each time allowing me to grow up/mature a bit more. I think everyone in AHChoir is a good person. I kind of think that the music we sing shapes/changes our personality, character and so on, eventually. Also, the teachers and friends we have in AHChoir changes/influences us too. I always feel very at home whenever im in the music room with AHChoir - where all my so-called "good people" exist :) Deviance? Nah-uh, never really is an issue.
I know i'm back home, truly. And it sure feels good to be home.
