I'm going to try and catch up on S8 so I can start posting as the episodes air (hopefully over the next two weeks).
8.02 What's Up, Tiger Mommy?
It was tricky to find one big broment in this episode so I've picked two little ones. Even though they are small I think they really show the bro love.
Sam's little knowing smile at Dean being Dean is wonderfully familiar. It's a little brother reacting to his older brother's "stay out of this".
I found this moment really curious. Sam sits in the aisle at the auction and when Dean arrives Dean tries to move Sam along. Sam doesn't move and corals Dean to the seat next to him. I can't help but see this as a protective move. Dean's a little unpredictable in this episode - he's still twitchy after his return from Purgatory. I think Sam wants to keep Dean out of harms way. (Not really possible, but at least Sam tries). It might also be a tussle for dominance. Later in the episode Sam gives in an moves over. Brotherly either way.
