What a great fic. I'd never thought of these two interacting much but you did a wonderful job of making that possible. I love how we see McCoy's chivalrous side as well as Uhura's capability.

And the final line? Killer!

You know, after ST:XI, I imagined them as quiet, behind-the-scenes, sort of secret friends. I couldn't pinpoint why for the life of me though.
