undefeated

'Invictus' was a good catch at the theatres. It was a meaningful show that somewhat taught me some lessons and many scenes got me thinking of the current ladies team in npdb.
It might not be exactly the same as per the movie but maybe the cause to the underlying problem is similar. I might not be around when discussions are on going or when team talks are held to know the entire story. However clearly, the current team lacks unity the most. I'm not here to make any judgements nor take sides but just sharing a piece of my thoughts about the current situation because just like many others, i too do not want to see the fall of the ladies team so if you do read this entry, please do not take it as a personal attack, do not take it too hard.

During the scene where the blacks in the rugby stadium cheered against their home squad, it reminded me of the current ladies team in NPDB. Instead of cheering for our own team or helping each other grow positively, we're bickering and pointing fingers around. Instead of giving others a chance to lead, we doubt and we run. Already the team is so small in numbers yet we allow Politics to affect the overall performance of the team. If we could stop holding grudges but learn to forgive those that have made poor decisions and not outcast them but move along, maybe we will find the fighting spirit back and be unified as one family again.
Indeed it is easier said by one who is no longer in the team than done by current team members but although we're small in head count, we can be strong too.
We can be undefeated.

small in numbers but one strong family
