2000-2005 saw myself into the Pop music industry. SClub, Britney Spears 'You Drive Me Crazy, Backstreet Boys, A1 'You Treat Me Like A Rose.. All that stuff sounds so old school iknow yet i remember how back in IJ, Crystal, Jo, Nor and I would sing in unison inbetween lessons or even, during lessons all just 'cos we sat tgt. Driving the teachers especially Tay Yit Ming & Mrs Kunna up the wall, repeatedly trying with all their might to shut us up but probably to no avail. Poor them, evil us. :)
3 years back, my ipod was filled with loud Rock bands, R&B songs i thought were pretty cool listening to but i kinda grew out of after awhile. Sometimes the lyrics didn't make much sense.
Of late, i'm appreciating and very much in love with Acoustic songs, Jazzy Blues and some bands i never heard of previously. I wonder if it's a growing up thing. I prefer slow music even if in an unknown language, as long as it sounds happy, it's good music for the soul. Not that i'm oblivious to latest music in the scene or on the charts, i'm still a walking jukebox to M. :)
I see it as growing up, I'm happy to see it that way.
Open up, open up some happiness. :)
