Warming up before the actual training programme never felt so long before. Or was it the (fast but still manageable) stroke rate that made it seem very long? Despite my mind playing games with my body, i'm glad CJ was a seat somewhere behind me 'cos he surely made the warm up rowing session less torturing. I'm still trying to figure out how he's capable of looking at his watch while paddling, counting down the minutes that remained. I've tried it before yet failed many times. Or is it just me? =/
While rowing past the flyer, the national anthem was being played loud and clear. I was pretty much going through the motion of rowing and in a daze so i didn't really pay attention to anything else. Besides, the boat was dead silent. Out of no where, CJ made funny wtf comments that woke me up.
CJ: I didn't know they built a mosque at Singapore Flyer! Sounds like they're chanting or saying prayers!
CJ: Wah, the singer (Taufik) still can add slang to the national anthem siah!
HAHAHAHA wtf right! If you heard Taufik sing the national anthem before the F1 race, you'd definitely know what i mean especially whenever he tries to drag the words...
Okay time to glue my eyes to the screen! ;)
