Of Long Islands, Target Hurricanes, and Blacklight Bowling:

Jun 16, 2008 12:14

Well, it was my birthday on the 12th, which since LJ likes to tell people that sort of thing, most of you know.

It was amazing. I haven't celebrated my birthday in forever, and it felt good to get out and have some fun, especially for my 21st.

Silliness and I go hand-in-hand.

Presents!

The Suz, myself, and Clayton (who came up from St. Louis for my birthday and is currently driving home to Florida from Milwaukee (with an overnight stop in Tennesse, of course)).

The gang, at Applebee's. From the left: Suz, myself, Clayton, Kristen, Amanda, Merritt, Marry and Am's. Woot. Mister Gregory bailed in order to work, and Miss Kristen brought his apologys and his, very shiny-headache-inducing card.

Then, we went bowling. Before bowling, though, we had to go to Target, because most of us girls didn't have socks. The power went out in Target, due to a massive storm we were having, then Am's bailed, and we ran through the parking lot. Oh, the Target Hurricane was much fun. We were soaked by the time we got to the bowling alley, but the rubber ducky Kristen got me as a birthday present felt right at home! Oh, and there were blacklights involved in the bowling. We glew!

Stupid flash pictures! Me, Mary and Merrit.

Me, bowling with apparently only one leg.

...A totally unnecessary second picture of me bowling.

Clayton and I all aglow. :3

Our lovely photographer, Miss Kristen.

A very blurry Merritt, and Amanda-kins.

The socks we braved the Target Hurricane for! They also saved the day, as Clayton's glasses fogged and got rain-spattered. There was no dry cloth in sight, and then it was remembered that the socks were tightly wrapped in the Target bag and did not get wet yay!

Our shoes to go with our socks, and one very bewildered looking bowling girl, who was probably wondering why the hell Kristen was taking this picture.

Another group shot, taken by the bowling girl, after we had bowled and dried off a bit.

So, yep, that was my birthday in a nutshell. It was amazing.
