I sit and wait for the end to come
sometimes I feel I've been waiting too long
stay at home, sitting on the fence
use my common sense - nothing is wrong.

I've spent my life feeling comfortable.
It's so wonderful, not having to care.
Live in comfort, cosmopolitan,
feel so solid I'm safe & secure.

I'm not alone, I have money & t.v.
My many friends, they don't call so much,
but I don't mind, it's o.k.
