I can't think of a clever subject title.

Honestly, when will hollywood realize that not every book needs to be made into a movie? While I was surfing the net I found out that The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe is in production... Disney is the one footing the bill so this could either go one of two ways, it will be worse than Home on the Range (ever heard of it? No? consider yourself blessed) or it will instantaneously become a classic. With the Way Disney enterprises has been going on for the last ten years it will most definitely be a flop. As my surfing continued, I found out that The fantastic four is also in production. I told my brother a while ago that I thought Hollywood was running out of ideas for movies. He said that would never happen. But with all these sequels and crappy super hero movies like Catwoman, and The Fantastic Four, I can’t help but wonder.

This reminds me, I read in the paper that some organization is considering giving J.K. Rowling the rights to Peter Pan so she can write a sequel to the book. NO, why can’t people leave well enough alone. JEsus Christ. Peter Pan is a literary classic. No offense to J.K. Rowling, because everyone knows I love her, just shy of sexual. But she could never write anything that could be as good as the original. Didn’t a woman try and do that with gone with the wind? and look what happened to that.

My brother comes into town on Thursday.. yaaaaaaay? To be honest these months without him have been pleasant. I haven’t been yelled at or called stupid since April. But he’s going to Vegas the day after he gets to town with his on again off again girlfriend. My dad will be glad to see him. It still amazes me how me and him don’t ever talk. Since he got divorced he only acknowledges me by either yelling at me or grunting at me, I respond by not responding. I guess that’s how my family has always been not very talkative. We show our love by what we give each other. Which is why I am spoiled with the new cars, yearly snowboard lessons, computers, ipods and all these other electronic toys that I don’t need. Seriously, what am I supposed to do with a 500 dollar palm pilot? As if I’m that busy. I don’t know what the point of me writing in here is anymore, but I know I’m going o try to update more. I remember reading in Dear Mr. Henshaw way back in third grade that writing in a journal can improve your writing skills-and I need all the help I can get.
