Seriouslyyyy, I just. Among the many flaws of season five was the fact that after Jo and Ellen died NO ONE EVER REALLY TALKS ABOUT THEM AGAIN. I mean, I understand I guess because THERE WAS A LOT OF SHIT GOING DOWN, BUT STILL THEY DID GET BROUGHT BACK JUST TO GET KILLED SO YOU KNOW. BITTER BITTER OH SEASON FIVE HOW YOU WRONGED ME SO GOOD. Uhm. What I mean to say is, I loved knowing that Dean still thinks about her. That, among all the (as he said) tons of people who could have been on his mind, who could have shown up in that chair, Jo was the first person he thought of. It still means a lot to him for Jo to be happy, wherever it is. Even if he still blames himself - OF COURSE HE DOES HE'S DEAN - there's some part of him that settled, knowing she's all right now.
And OH GOD JO. JO. I CANNOT WITH HER OKAY. I just. ajdhgkdjkss; I love that EVEN THOUGH SHE WAS A GHOST AND WASN'T SUPPOSED TO HAVE CONTROL OVER WHAT SHE WAS DOING, she was still there in every moment. Still stubborn and smart and, underneath calling Dean a jerk (love love love), still 100% sure he's a good man. GOD I JUST DO NOT HAVE COHERENT WORDS BUT I THINK I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN. Like, I love that Osiris bringing up her crush didn't really move Jo at all but that little moment there at the end with her and Dean and she BLUSHED AND WAS FUCKING ADORABLE ABOUT IT BUT THAT WASN'T THE POINT OF IT, YOU KNOW? The point was she cares about him as a friend and a fellow hunter and whatever did or didn't happen between them she needs him to keep going.
