[Aveil is standing beside the Zelda in the prism, a guard or guardian, it is never easy to tell with her.]

Don't watch if it bothers you so much, [she says, over the screaming.]

[Whether Ganon's strike ever lands is unclear. The view outside the crystal shifts, clouds moving in to hide the beast and his victim. Zelda stops pounding against the glass, instead letting her hands rest against the surface as she closes her eyes in frustration.]

I cannot...I cannot allow him to return.

[Turning around, she leans against the crystal conversationally, arms folded across her chest.]

And how will you do that, eh? Trapped as you are? If you do not have the power to free yourself, how do you expect to have the power to free your country?

[Her eyes snap open and she inhales sharply, but she can't bring herself to look at the other woman.]

Even if I try... [One of her hands traces a shape on the glass - a single triangle of the Triforce. Power...hm.] What if I end up making the same mistakes as before?

[Aveil flashes the princess a sharp, toothy grin.]

Then you will not last very long, ekekeke.

[Despite this, there is little humor in her tone.]

[Sometimes honesty works better than empty encouragement. She finishes drawing the other two pieces of the sacred triangle - Courage for Link, whom she believes in with all her heart, Wisdom for herself, whom she will try to believe in, for her people's sake.]

I cannot do anything with power alone.

[The Triforce symbol comes to life on the glass.]

I need courage, I need wisdom.

[Nodding curtly, Aveil smiles enigmatically and steps aside, willing to watch this play out for herself.]
