Happy Mother's day all! I am posting to you from my mother's day present, a brand new netbook!! Yay! My husband consulted my incredibly smart sister and he picked out a nice little black number that I love! Our computer is old and kind of busted so the netbook is the perfect thing! Also, the fact that to get online I don't have to be in my room is awesome. See, right now I'm sitting on the couch with the boys blogging away. This is great.
Shawn is off at work today, as usual for holidays. He puts a lot of hours in when i know he'd rather be spending time with us. Tonight though, he leaves for Dallas to play in the Guns and Hoses golf tournament with two friends and Ken. You know he's not looking forward to thet. ;)
The boys are wrapping up their school year. They've got a week and a half left then off for summer. I have signed Gray up for vacation bible school but Park will not be old enough. We've got a trip to PA planned for early June and one to TN in late July. I am looking forward to a little time off from the routine of school. Gray will be in soccer and baseball but a little room in our schedule will be a welcome break. i honesly could not tell you what it is that i have been so busy doing for the last few months, but it's taken up all of my time. whew, what a hassle. i have been so busy doing whatever it is I've been doing that Shawn kept asking if i had been stealing his socks. Tthe truth of the matter is that I simply hadn't washed them in at least two weeks. Probably three. A long time. Anyhow. Lucky the man has a lot of socks.
I can't believe Gray is about to finish up his last year of preschool. He's starting to read small words, 3 and 4 letters, I've probably mentioned it before, but it's so cool. He's getting tobe such a big kid. Park is really growing physically. He's losing all that baby chubbiness and his arms and legs are streaching out. He's losing his shyness too. It's so awesome seeing them grow. I love being a mom!
