Ugh, Dad baited me just now. Harassmypanda, I blame you!
I was looking at harassmypanda's lj and he saw the picture of her as a big (adorable) strawberry and he was like "what the huh?" (I swear to god, that's what he said) and then he asked me who she was and how I knew her and all that crap, and then he asked why there were all those pictures of the Jewish anime guy with the cigarettes and the gun. I said that harassmypanda likes Cowboy Bebop, which is one of the best anime ever created. Which it totally is. But anyway, the rest of it went something like this:
Dad: So, it looks pretty violent, what with all those guns and stuff.
Me: I guess, but it's a lot more than that.
Dad: I bet that guy in Fairfax County liked that Bebop show.
Me: What guy?
Dad: The guy who murdered five people on Christmas. One of them was his own mother.
Me: ...I'm sure he didn't watch Cowboy Bebop, dad.
Dad: Oh really? How do you know?
Me: That's stupid, dad. You're baiting me. Go away.
He likes starting arguments with me for some reason. Probably because he has a shitty job and hates his life, or something. How immature. Anyway, here's what I got for X-Mas and stuff:
Children of Nuggets -- an awesome compilation of 80's garage bands.
Weird Tales of the Ramones -- omg omg omg it's got 85 Ramones songs and some videos and and and a COMIC BOOK! ABOUT THE RAMONES!! *explodes*
Blues Brothers 25th Edition DVD -- They're on a mission from Gahd ^-~
Demon Days -- you know. The Gorillaz album. ^-^ I like it.
Fancy drawing pencils and a sketchbook -- I can't wait to waste them on my crappy art skills! yay!
The Human Fly and Other Stories -- mom always gets me a book. This one looks pretty cool.
Gloves and socks -- The socks had a sticker that said "Touch me! I'm super-soft!" on them. I want a shirt that says that.
