The cuban Bee Hummingbird is only two inches long and is roughly half the weight of a penny. The males of the species can flash their feathers to shoot an iridescent light to females and warn males. When threatened by another male they rush nearly 300 feet into the air and nose-dive at their aggressor. Their hearts have an incredible pace of over one thousand beats per minute.
http://www.orchidlady.com/personal/pics/bee.jpg While i'm at it, if you can find that picture of that huge desert spider, let me know. Its incredibly large, maybe four feet. I know nothing about it aside from the fact that it looks alien and I would kill myself if I ever saw one, I'm serious, I hate spiders. The picture I saw had it surrounded by several American Soldiers in Desert fatigues.
