WE will never again see a hero like steve yzerman in this day and age. He is who I grew up with and will miss him dearly. Regardless of who gets the C, wether it be Liddy, or Shanny, or DRAPPES, it will not look the same.

Ok so here is the way I see it: Ben Walace is hindering the progress of our team and I have always thought so
How you can you honestly think that playing four on five on offense is going to help a team win a tittle? We did it all freakin year and were ok with it but then when the playoffs came around, and the other teams bumped up thier defense we couldn't do shit. I think he is the biggest reason why we lost.
Yeah every one else didn't play that good on offense, we missed a lot of easy shots, but with absoultly 0 inside help to funnel at least a few plays through you are going to get tired and also how hard is it to stop the same damn play and system that you have seen all year? When the center on a team has the fewest points in the paint out of the starting five then somthing is wrong.
Even bigger than the offense though is his inabilitly to do anything on defense against shaq. Why in the hell would we go out and spend 50 million dollars on a player you has the worst free-throw % in playoff history, hurts the team on offense more than he helps, and cannot even do the one thing he gets paid to do, play hard D, when the time comes? I din't care if Sqaq is huge thats what you get paid to do o defensive player of the year. With your childish defense against an old and withering shaq not only was he able to take over at times when we need a stop but he was able to effortless funnel the entire offense throuogh him. How did you do it a few years ago when we won? oh yeah thats right you didn't elden cambell did. He should have been the MVP not Billups. How does that make you feel ben that you the"Best defender in the league" got benched for a 41 year old fat guy.
I'm not saying he can't play d cause he god knows he can, and he is one of the best to ever do so. However we cannot afford to pay him super star bucks if he can't do anything to other superstar centers like Shaq, Howard, and Duncan.
You can't play offense, you can't play defense against teams we need you to play defense against, and now as we can all see your not a team player and in it for the money. As I have said all season I am glad that you are gone ben wallace. Have fun on the worst team in the league. Lets see how good you are with 0 help around you.
