On Thursday, when Plan B was approved for over-the-counter for 18 and over, we interviewed the same woman who lied in the prior two entries for a soundbite, and she repeated the same lie about Plan B causing abortions AGAIN. (This is the usual order of things; cable news did it too, and who'd have ever thunk that J.C. Watts would ever be considered an astute "political analyst"?)
I talked to the reporter who did the story when I got off shift -- she said they'd been debating about that ever since I brought up the fact that Ms. Estrada liked to lie for soundbites about contraception, but apparently it went nowhere.
(Another cable news aside: has anyone noticed that every time they talk Plan B, it's always a big dickfest? Did it ever occur to them to have a woman on air talking about it?)
