Mm been a long time since I wrote in this forsaken text of my life. What to say, where to begin. Well lets see, lets begin with the movies watched this week. Mm im not sure if I already talked about A Clockwork Orange, but it is one of the strangest movies ever. Based on an Ultraviolent Society such as ours nowadays, it's based on a English gang, that went around beating people up, raping woman or doing the ol in out in out they called it, and it's pretty violent in the beginning. But then of course, the gang breaks up, and the leader, is thrown into prison. And then, he is put into the "Quick Fix Yourself Up" program. In which they made him phyiscally sick everytime a violent thought came into his mind, and corrupted him. But the catch is, as they are doing the training, they play his favorite song of all time, and very ironicaly, totally contradictory to the Ultraviolent them, the master mind Kubric has the 9th Symphony of Beethoven playing, almost throughout the whole movie. Stanley Kubric is the mastermind of strange movies! Anyway im not going to give it all away. Next to music. Ive had the sudden interest really into the Beach Boys, Opera Music, and Ballet music. I recently purchased, the Pet Sounds record by the Beach Boys, their most revolutionary record. I have a story behind this. I was reading the Keith Moon biography, and if anyone doesn't know, Keith was the drummer for the great band The Who. So anyway, supposedly his favorite kind of music was in fact, surfer music. So when Brian Wilson, somewhat the leader of the Beach Boys, came to England for a visit, and Keith showed him around. And it so happens that Brian had a recording of Pet Sounds, and he invited no one other than The Beatles, to come and listen. The Beatles were dumfounded, it was like nothing they had heard, and suddenly they felt threatended as the most revolutionary band of their time, so in a comeback to Pet Sounds, The Beatles in fact created one of their most creative records, Revolver. Just a little history lesson for the youngins. Anyway for me, I'm doing well. I've been a strange funk for a few days, friday was a wonderful night, saturday, was yet another wonderful day with my 2nd family, the higgins, and they threw me an early suprise birthday party for me! Ivy made me chocalate strawberries, and chocolate pretzels, and redecorated my room for me! She's a great woman, still love that girl, part of my family. Well enough with the drama, it's been good times, and i hope they keep roling in. Good night and sleep well
