Con report!
It was fun stuff.
Oh man, okay, I can't give pictures yet because Ginga's group has all of 'em. I didn't have a camera so I used theirs.
The first day, jennaashimo (Ten!!!) and her sister (Nine) picked me up from the hotel and we went and picked up tsururu and Nine's friends (Jennifer is so whiny!) and went out for pho. I didn't really like it so much, the noodles were really bland and had this weird taste to them. Then we had boba, which was also weird. The pearls are like...I dunno, the texture is really odd. I could only get through like half of it before they started making me want to gag.
Anyway, then we went and picked up our badges and I hooked up with gingaginga and her friends, strawberryparty, mousy_girl, and uh ze_dormouse. Ginga, Mello, Kendra, and 'Lissa. Kendra is really jumpy and freak-out-able, which is kind of cute and annoying at the same time. Ginga's friends are cool, so it was all good.
Tsubie had mad antics, I grabbed her ankle and she gave me rugburn, Ten tied her shoelaces together. After picking up our badges, Ginga and 'Lissa and I went to DISNEYLAND 8)! Which was totally fun and like uh I was hanging all over Ginga the whole time. They changed Pirates :( They also changed the bride in the Mansion which was really weird! I liked her better the old way I think :( And uh we went on the Matterhorn and Ginga sat with me 8) I swear it wasn't all a ploy to get her in my lap really!
First day, Ginga did Serge, and Mello, 'Lissa and Kendra did Monk, Dancer, and Priestess. They got stopped a lot for pictures. We basically just kind of wandered the con area. Second day, they did Chrono Cross, Serge and 'Lissa as Kid and Kendra as Lina. They got stopped for pictures um, a lot more. We couldn't move XD
I was Dr. McNinja that day. I didn't get recognized a whole lot, but I got stopped for pictures three times, and when I went to take a picture of the huge FF7 group with Cloud's bike, both the Cloud and the Reno were like, "OMFG DR MCNINJA!!!" Which was neat.
Somebody borrowed my pen to get her ass signed by Man-Faye. :(
That night we went out to eat at Todai and uh Ten's group was late and arrived when we were all finished eating >| So we just sat there playing with Tsu while she ate like a pig. michiru_mama came with us. Honey is a nut IRL, man. She's fucking crazy XD
Ten ignored us for most of the dinner :(
When we got back to the hotel room, it was just me and Ginga and Honey and there was like...mad horsing around/orgy-age. Honey tried to suffocate us with pillows and I groped Ginga like a million times. On a sidenote, if you want to end an argument with her, just grab her boobs!
Like huge dorks, Ginga and I did a log in the hotel room.
Tsu came over on the first day I think and ended up falling asleep twice, and both times her phone went off and she proceeded to open her eyes and look very disoriented while we tried to tell her that her phone was ringing. The second time was hilarious because she stared at her hands like she had never seen them before. Then she told us what had happened, something along the lines of, "I thought it was a balloon and then it turned into my hand!" ...Tsu, you nut.
Tsu also told me in all seriousness that "I am not naive!" I got a good laugh out of that one.
On the last day (for me, since my ride had to leave early), I saw a couple things that absolutely made my day. One, an absolutely beautiful Vampire Hunter D cosplay which made me exceptionally happy to see. She put a lot of effort into it, it was perfect. And two, I saw an Okage group. OKAGE!! They had a Stan, an Ari, and a Rosalyn. The Stan was AWESOME, and the Rosalyn was really good. I didn't see the Ari or Rosalyn at first, just the Stan, and when I ran over to get a picture, the Ari was like "OMG WAIT GET ALL OF US!" I was soooo happy for the rest of the day XD
I saw a Kaneda. That was badass. Not something you see much XD
There were a lot of OXIII people, lots of Ed and State Alchemist uniforms, and lots of Bleach and FFVII. We saw the cutest Yachiru on the elevator. Her sword was so long that it hit the ground, and there were wheels on the end. She talked in this high-pitched little kid voice which was totally adorable, so when the guy on the elevator asked her why her sword had wheels on it, I was dying when she said so cheerfully, "My sword is too heavy for me! They're training wheels! BYE-BYYYYYE!!" as she walked out of the elevator XD
There was a group doing Clow cards, with a Clow. The cards were really well done costumes, and they had card frames with them and everything. It was pretty badass.
I saw pooru's crusader costume, but I called his name and he didn't answer so I think it was his little brother. Sorry, Pooru :(
So, that was my con experience. Pictures to come when Ginga gets them to me when she gets back.
Next year I totally want to do Fushigi Yuugi. We've already got a tentative plan, Kendra as Miaka, 'Lissa as Nuriko, Ginga as Hotohori, Mello as either Tamahome or Tasuki, Tsu as Chiriko, and I'll do Chichiri. I also want to do Count D next year which means pick your animal and join my harem 8) I want Tsu as the Kirin!
I also need to fix up my sin costume (after I FIND IT), and uh. I really wanna do an Okage group now. Somebody needs to be Princess Marlene okay! :( I'll be Epros come on it'll be cool.
