movies in 3d
I saw Avatar today. It's good. Formulaic, but engrossing. It works.
But guys, I am so over this 3D in regular theatres shit, okay. Yeah stuff is 3D but it's all blurry at the edges and it fucks up my eyes. I always come out with a headache, cross-eyed for hours after. Can we just...stop making movies in 3D, or learn better ways to do it? It might look cool but it also makes it really hard to follow things onscreen. The movie chooses where your focus goes, so you miss background details, and trying to pick them out is a headache.
It basically just makes it really hard for me to watch movies and I'm sick of everything being in 3D these days. I enjoy movies a lot more when they're flat. MAYBE I AM THE ODD DUDE OUT HERE BUT THAT IS HOW I FEEL.
