I don't think I have any friends who are thinking about voting yes on this, but I think the ad was well done and I'm glad to see there's some official support for my stance in my party.

I also felt this was pretty cool. )

felt i should share

Obviously because man+woman=baby and that's what God intended. SEX=PROCREATION.

But if sex was strictly for procreation wouldn't that mean you were fucking everything up any time you did it without wanting to get pregnant?

Well, shit, I guess I've gone and shot the status quo all to hell.

Or myself to hell, because, you know, that's where you go if you don't want CUTE ICKLE BABYKINS every time you insert tab A into slot B.

But they do Gay Stuff™ out of instinct, not for pleasure!

...except for, um, a bunch of species of dolphins and apes that do it for pleasure. But I'm sure we can pretend that's not true for the sake of argument!

Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.

Hello, my name is Beth. My parents are straight and I'm asexual. I haven't told them yet because I'm scared of how they'll react. Now, this isn't quite the same thing as being gay, mind, but some people might see it as being just as bad as being gay.

Therefore, whoever wrote the aboved bit of italicized text? Your logic is severely flawed.

Hahaha Beth chill the entire list is completely facetious. That's the point, exactly what you said is exactly the point of the statement.

Sorry. Just that entire list pisses me off. XD

IT SHOULD. THAT'S THE POINT BEHIND IT. It's lampshading how absolutely ridiculous the anti-gay-marriage arguments are.

GUIN YOU HAVE SHOWN ME THE LIGHT; THE LOGIC OF THAT LIST IS IMPECCABLE. I AM MOVING TO CALEEFORNEEA AND VOTING YES ON PROPOSITION 8. I WILL ALSO VOTE YES ON THE OTHER PROPOSITIONS SO THEY DON'T THINK I'M PLAYING FAVORITES.

oh my god dude we were actually having this discussion of Prop 8 in my American Government class. We actually (voluntarily) voted on what we were for or against - but we had to state a reason. It was pretty awesome. lmfao, lots of fun. maybe like 3-4 kids voted yes, and the majority voted no. We had debates going back and fourth. I never wanted to leave. XD

Man that sounds pretty awesome, it's always kinda neat to force people to sit down and think about WHY they think the way they do.
