The joys of being sick
OH GOD WHY oh god this is terrible augh
I couldn't sleep last night, you see, I kept coughing. Finally at like 2:30 or something I took some Nyquil, stayed up until 3 writing, and then got to sleep. BUT I WAKE UP THIS MORNING AND...and my world is pain. If my world = my throat. Swallowing feels like I'm swallowing KNIVES. Or FIRE. OR KNIVES ON FIRE. Also my voice is totally shot. TOTALLY shot, and laughing is painful.
This is kind of frustrating actually because I usually don't lose my voice when I get sick. And now it's just like...dead. DEAD. WHAT DO I DO? God I hope this doesn't last much longer, I hate not being able to sleep because of coughing. It's like the worst feeling in the world for me.
