18. Did you enjoy school?
They don't have a standardized school system! But he was uh trained in the military I guess? And no. He didn't enjoy that. Not at all.
63. Do you trust anyone to protect you? Who, and why?
The only people he'd trust to watch his back, honestly, are Amelia's father and Joel. Coincidentally, his two best friends! Also his sister, Gloria, he would trust with that role. He tries to be self-reliant though, and he's usually the one protecting people (specifically Amelia and/or Joel).

35. When was the time you were the most frightened?
Last time he got attacked by a fucking harpy out of the blue >=|
Actually, I'd say honestly it was probably 20 years ago during the Second Massacre at Arimathea where he almost died and Amelia's father did die. It was TERRIFYING and that terror is probably the only reason he's still alive now.
21. While growing up, how did you get along with the other members of your family?
Father- Distant authority figure, tried to push Esteban into becoming an assassin. Somewhat resented for most of his adolescence and childhood because his father expected him to live up to some unrealistic standards and seemed like he was never happy with anything Esteban did. They were effectively estranged when Esteban rebelled and joined the ANG instead. They reconciled sometime during his service in ANGEL. They actually talk now but his dad is still kind of a hardass so it's not a particularly close relationship. He respects his father's opinions though and sees him as a very wise man.
Mother- A better relationship, but she still wanted him to go into the family business and was still very disappointed in him when he joined ANG instead. There was no estrangement though, just a lot of guilting and "golly I wish you'd stayed and joined the guild." His mother was stern but fair and he had a tendency to go to her for advice when he needed it. It wasn't the sort of relationship where he felt he could talk to her about anything though, and there was still a sort of tangible distance between them. There was a lot of stuff he felt he just couldn't tell his mother.
Sister- Gloria, on the other hand, he is very close to. Mostly, she always looked up to him as a role model and she would come talk to him whenever she needed life advice (he was two years older, so that made him FAR WISER THAN SHE. Of course). She was the only one who REALLY AND TRULY supported him the entire time he was in the military, and this gives him a degree of closeness with her that he does not have with his parents. He still kinda treats her like the annoying little sister that she is though, and she still acts like it.
MISSY- THIS CAT IS HIS BABY HE WILL DIE TO PROTECT HER SHE IS LIKE A DAUGHTER TO HIM. DON'T FUCK WITH ESTEBAN'S CAT GUYS HE WILL FUCK YOU UP >=|
