Burning in talismans raises the base stats of your weapon, but it's like 3 base per 20 stat. In other words a 20 talisman will only raise your weapon's base attributes by 3, but you still lose the 20 talisman. In other words it takes hundreds of points worth of talismans just to raise your base stats by 20. I have yet to find an equip that starts out any higher than 120 base stat.
To get a weapon spirit you need to raise it to 100 luv (basically use it until that number says 100) and then burn a special talisman into it. THIS TAKES HOURS.
Certain enemies can burn talismans out of you weapons. POOF GONE BAM LIKE IT NEVER HAPPENED.
I just lost a shingan spirit weapon talisman to this, and then several defense boosting talismans, and then I DIED 17 FLOORS INTO A DUNGEON BECAUSE I KEPT GETTING POISONED/CONFUSED BY THESE MUSHROOM ENEMIES
OH AND WHEN YOU DIE IN IZUNA YOU LOSE EVERYTHING YOU HAVE ON YOU EXCEPT STUFF YOU WERE ACTUALLY ABLE TO PUT RETURN TALISMANS ON, WHICH WAS MY GAUNTLET ONLY CUZ I DIDN'T HAVE ROOM ON MY SWORD
SO HEY GUYS I LOST MY SWORD THAT I SPENT HOURS UPON HOURS ACTUALLY BUILDING UP TO HAVE MORE THAN 250 ATK
NOT TO MENTION HOURS WORTH OF WORK THAT WENT INTO MAKING A SHINGAN SPIRIT
