THE LONG AWAITED CAPELLA WEEKEND POST (4th to 7th Nov 2011)
I promised this post a long time ago, and it's wayyy overdue! :(
I've been really busy with schoolwork and my personal life, although I already had the pictures uploaded and ready.
So on the 4th of November 2011, Grace and I spent a night at Capella! I've never seen the place before, but Grace told me so many good things about it and I've heard a lot about the hotel from other people as well, so I was really excited to spend a night there with her!
I skipped photography that day, I can't remember why. So she came by to pick me up after she was done with school and packing, and we went to Sentosa! Check in was a breeze, service there is really impeccable. We were shown to our room, and I was so taken with the room! I can actually say that I've never stayed in such a nice hotel room (and it's just an ordinary sea view room) before!

Sentosa was surprisingly empty for a Friday evening!
For dinner, we ordered room service!

After dinner, Grace presented me with my gift!
The teardrop necklace from Tiffany that I had pointed out a month earlier <333
Housekeeping came by with these complimentary delicious cookies with melty chocolate inside!

5th November 2011 (the next day)
The next morning, I woke up naked in Grace's arms, with The xx and Bon Iver playing over the sound system in the room (ah, heaven). The shades were drawn, so we woke up in total darkness.

Checking out was a breeze as well. We left the room in a huge mess with towels strewn all over the floor and the bed was in a very sorry state ;)
Took a cab to USS! Finally, ever since it opened I've been dying to go, but I never got around to doing it. My plan to go with Evia, Del and Yenhua kept falling through. There were some slight hiccups when we got there, Grace DROPPED my camera and broke my filter. There was a heart-stopping glass breaking sound and those few seconds when I picked up my camera to check if my lens broke seemed like hours... But thank god, the lens was still intact. Would have KILLED Grace if she had broken my lens HAHA.
We bought express passes, so we got to skip all the queues!!! Also why we decided to take EVERY SINGLE ride that day! Grace screamed during the Madagascar boat ride -_____-

By the way, some dino trivia: that fight scene between the T-rex and the Spinosaurus couldn't have happened because the Spinosaurus lived tens of millions of years before the T-rex!

Also, am I the only one who thinks Human was scarier?? There's more G-force! Preferred Cylon though ^^

Walked around RWS for freaking ages trying to find the Victoria's Secret store! Went crazy trying all the scents when we got there ^^ I love the perfumes and the thongs and the girly pink passport cover!
Went back to Grace's and we decided to have a Jurassic Park movie marathon! Omg my absolute favourite trilogy <333 I fucking love dinosaurs.
WE BUILT A FORT!!!!! I've always wanted to do that. I love forts!
So we basically spent the next 2 days hiding out in our fort, ordering takeout and watching Jurassic Park 1, 2 and 3. Perfect life <3

Ah, it was such a great weekend. Capella, USS and 2 days of movies, sleep and food. So amazing. I MISS IT ALREADY AHHHH baby when is our next staycation?!!?!?
