It's nice learning that there are single friends out there. I read about them being happy and excited about the future and it's infectious?
I often remember how I felt at my first burning man in 2002. EXCITED and at home in this big web of possibilities, of other single folks. I was partnered for a long time (for me). Now I emerge and the world has "gone to couples" here in Seattle. And so, when I learn about other friends, who are singles, enjoying life--I see a happy possible reflection of some future time, or now, of me.
