I won my first Pokemon battle yesterday!
Some guy got in a snit about the sandwich he ordered, and so he got all up in my face like Jin used to do when he wanted to prove a point, and then was all, "You, me, battle, right now!" and...so we battled. I'm a natural, it seems. Heh. Like there was any doubt!
And just like in the games, he handed over a wad of money, plus the cost of the sandwich, although he did seem quite disgruntled about it the entire time. But hey, money is money! I think Vivi, my Eevee -- heh --, also gained a level, so that's something to be happy about.
Although it's not much money, it still is more than I managed to make in the month I've been here, so I'm starting to think that maybe training might be good for now? Just to save up a bit so I don't feel like a charity case wherever I go, but for now, I think I'll buy me and Tabe-chan something nice for dinner for once! Try my hand at cooking and all that...
