I Feel Sick
I always entertained the idea that Bush might win again, but I never really accepted it. As of two minutes ago it is now official.
It makes me so sad to know that more than half the country thinks Bush is doing a good job and is the best person to run our country. I feel like I don't understand people anymore or what the United States represents.
In a way I hope that the next four years are a complete nightmare so people can see what they really voted for...
Go ahead Bush... invade Iran and Saudi Arabia, reimplement the draft, drill in Alaska and Colorado, give the rich more tax cuts, give incentives to companies shipping jobs overseas, appoint conservative and religious-oriented supreme court justices, make abortion illegal again, limit women's access to birth control, pass a constitutional ammendment that makes marriage only between a man and a woman, take away my right to listen to, read or watch material that might be offensive to some people... (I could go on forever).
