We're BACK Baby!!
Hello Friends!!!!!!
I don't even know where to begin this post, I really don't! I feel like I've been out of the loop for so long, and the sheer amount of information that I have to go through is overwhelming, to say the least! I made today the goal for myself though, so I am determined to get a post up and start wading my way back into all things of the internet category. I managed to update Facebook, and I'm ALMOST finished with my epic blog entry, and now I am logging into LJ for the first time in AGES...PHEW!!!
First and foremost, before I go any further, I need to say something very important:
This community - as we all know, and as I've espoused before - has some of the absolute highest caliber people that I have ever met. I am so extremely fortunate for the friends that I have here. The thoughtful kindness and absolute sincerity that is apparent in each of the exchanges that I have with most of you continues to astound me. My husband has even commented on it, that friends that I have never really "met" are by far better than the supposed friends in "Real Life". Whatever "Real Life" happens to be, I count most of you among my very REAL friends.
I need to especially thank a few folks, as I've been so blessed to receive such wonderful little gifts in the mail!
hpaich - I know that I have already done a post, back when I received the package that you sent, but it bears mentioning again for certain. You sent both boy AND girl items, just so that you made sure that I had what I needed. And the blanket that you knit is so beautiful! I've had many wonderful comments on it already. I really hope to get some pictures posted soon so that you can see where all of your hard work is being put to use! You are a true friend, and I dearly love you for all of the things that make you YOU.
only_more_love - I am totally ashamed that I am only just now getting the chance to thank you for the Bones onesies that you sent! When I got them, I was totally floored! You are such an amazing woman, and I can hardly believe that you have such a kind heart! I am so grateful for the gift, and I can't wait to take pics! I hope that you never change and that you stay so incredibly kind. What a wonderful surprise it was to get the mail that day! Thank you thank you thank you!
lizook12 - You are amazing. Really, you are. When I went to the mail today, I got both your and Space's gifts and I just about cried! Your such a wonderful friend to those that know you, and I'm certainly grateful to be counted among that lucky lot! I absolutely love the baby bib, and it's even more precious that you added your own personal touch to it. I promise that it will get LOTS of use, and I'll be sure to post pics for you so you can see! Thank you soo much!
spacekid77 - I basically drop off of the face of the planet, and yet you remember me anyway! I don't know what I ever did to deserve such consideration, but it's humbling. It truly is. You are a wonderful and amazing person and I'm so fortunate to count you among my friends. Knowing that C wore those sweet little outfits was just about my undoing, let me tell you! He's such a beautiful little boy, and I'm honored that you would pass them on to Harrison. I love each and every one, and you can be sure that I'll be taking lots of pictures so that everyone can see!
