Par-tay!
So my company's holiday party was last night. It was fun!!!
They bused us all to Liberty State Park, to this really nice restaurant that had a stunning view of the NYC skyline. That backed by the jazz pianist? I was happy.
Some of my coworkers got plastered, one (one of my bosses) bought me a drink. Stolli Vanilla and coke. Good times. The food was just snack style, but the desserts were fantastic!
I also found out that one of my coworkers works at the DS&D base at Bristol Myers, and he remembers me! I /vaguely/ remember him, but apparantly my old boss (one of 'em, anyway) misses me. Good to know! :)
All in all, a lot of laughs, though I didn't win the 50 inch plasma TV. One of my bosses did. Ah well. :)
Side note: I walked up to the HR person who put it together, and thanked her for inviting me. In all the coporate offices I've worked in, this was the first that invited me to any of their parties. Usually they were employees only, temps and contractors need not apply. She said "Of course you were invited! You're part of the family!"
