It's been a long time since I made a revelant post. That's probably because I'm boring.
What's interesting about me? Well, back in June? July? I traded my Saab in for an 09 Subaru Forester. Less elegant, but more utilitarian. More importantly: 9" of ground clearance. No more being stuck in the snow! My poor mom tried to help my Saab out of deep snow this past spring and hurt herself. Fuel economy is surprising good - I'm under 11 L/100 km, with rather judicious use of the turbo.
Socially, I'm out there more often. I fringed my brains out with Die-Nasty every night and recently did Symphony Under the Sky, or as I like to call it this year: Concerts in the Cold. I really like Die-Nasty - I'm going to try to make more of their regular shows, as well as their marathon later this month.
I also started playing Dungeons and Dragons with
frabjousdave and friends. I haven't played it in close to 15 years, I think. I'm not talking about Facebook D&D either - it the tabletop 4th edition. I'm a dragon!
I did the Zip membership over the summer to catch up on movie I wanted to see. I watched Blu-Ray Transformers last night and it was glorious! Sadly (or not), my Warcracking is entering its 3 week of being on hiatus. I'm starting to get emails wondering when the owl is coming back.
I might have a new job next week. I'll let everyone know then.
My house is a still a mess. Part of my hiatus on Warcrack was so I could get my house in order. I have swept, vaccuumed and mopped but it doesn't seem to get any cleaner. And my yard is even worse. I may really need to think about abandoning this idea of being a house owner. Something smaller like a townhouse or a duplex. Closer to the university would be nice too.
As you can see, not a very interesting life. I continue to soldier on...
