Not really - the percentage change in our dollar is greater than the US inflation rate. Higher dollar will mean lower costs on import goods (fruits, vegetables, high-end electronics, etc.) However, higher energy prices means higher shipping costs, so maybe it all balances out.
My friend Rob, who works in TV production, at any pause in a conversation about the film and TV industry, would click his tongue and shake his head and say, "Yup, it's all about money."
But he also used to say things like, "No woman in this country is more than a handjob away from a hot meal," so I don't know how much credence we should really give him.

And now that I'm thinking about it, an arthritic neck would be a more severe handicap than arthritic hands.
