Must Have Been a Slow Week
I just got back to work after a 10-day vacation. I have only 909 new emails, somewhat less than my usual rate of 100 a day. 513 of these have already been sorted in to the “Deleted Items” folder by my spam filters (none of which filter actual spam, but rather business messages I know a priori are junk mail). I deleted 201 more based on only their subject lines, leaving a mere 195 that have even the potential to be relevent. At best, work is batting 21.45%.
And they wonder why nothing gets done.
