WE'VE REGISTERED.
And my God, it was fun! A bit of work really, because you go and register for your future home together. I'm like, "Crap. I'm a fashion graduate. I can't have stuff clashing!" So I really had to pick an idea of where I might be going in the future, and just BAM! registered our home life for the next couple of years. Hopefully people follow our registry. It's so weird to know that all these people are buying gifts for us. Why is it such a weird concept to me? Probably because I'm getting married in less than FIVE months.

Where did we register?
I think we did a good job getting stuff covered. I can't wait to get home in October and get started on the other stuff that needs to get done. It's ridiculous trying to get some stuff done from afar. Luckily I have my sisters helping out.
I recently sent my mom these below photos (I've collaged them for easier view- and more pleasant.) These are my inspirations for flowers and table decor. I'm trying not to jinx my idea, but I've fallen in love with BOHEMIAN ROSE, and their floral table runner as seen here. I love this idea of having this flat floral table top decor being integrated with candelabras with roses atop of them with candles. Hopefully the florist interests my parents and hopefully, can maybe do my idea without breaking our bank too hard.
I showed these to my sisters, and they are created their own with a Cricket cutting machine. They will hang on our BLACK manzanita tree for our well wishers. I'll be posting them into a scrapbook I'm going to busy myself with next year. :)
I love the color and mixture of textures.
To save on costs, my bridesmaids and I are going to be putting together our own bouquets the night before the big day. I live very close to the Floral market and plan to run some test bouquets when I get home to make sure we have things down pat. I think we'll do something simple like these, although I plan to wrap the bouquets with long double sided satin ribbon and placing a brooch on each bouquet that will personalize them. It'll also serve as a 'Thank You' gift for my girls. :)
I'll plan to share more info as stuff comes in. Next month I have to start packing for our move in Mid October. I'm excited to get home. I am so over this place. LOL!
