I'm glad to be back home for the week. Thus far, it's been very nice. I drove home Thursday night, saw Let's Go to Prison (God awful movie-we only saw it for Will Arnett AKA Goeb from Arrested Development) with the girls, partied hearty at with Margie and James downtown Chicago (beautiful apartment btw love) on Saturday, and spent the night with Joe yesterday. Today I went to my mom's school during lunch and played with the first and second graders during recess. I think that I'm going to my sister's school tomorrow afternoon. Tonight I think that I need to buckle down and work on the hoards and hoards of projects/homework that they love to give us at the end of the semester.

School's still going well, but the second half of the semester has been much more stressful than the first. So many more projects and homework! And with my schedule, I'm always busy save for the weekends. The weekends are fucking fabulous, if only they lasted more than two nights. Work is going alright. John Strom and I started a Jim and Dwight a la The Office type game with the co-worker that we both hate. Think Dwight Schrute, only bitches about everything every minute of our three-hour shift. John and I decided that we'd make a game out of pissing him off. 1 pt. if we get him to sigh loudly, 5 pts. if we get him to say "shut up!" and 10 pts. if we get him to swear. So far the score is 5-11 John (and this game started within the last half hour of our last shift).

My new love-Arlo Guthrie. I've never been much of a folkie, but there's something about him that I like a lot. It could be the sense of humor, the wicked style, or the fact that he looks a lot like Joe:

Joe and I watched Alice's Restaurant Massacre not too long ago, which was just the coolest. Also very sad, it covered the deterioration of his dad old-thyme folkie Woody Guthrie to Huntington's Disease. We also just got best of. So far, I'm in love ha.

I hope all is well for everyone. Before I go, I'd like you to take a look at this:
"The innocent victims of Internet child abuse cannot speak for themselves.

But you can.

With your help, we can eradicate this evil trade.

We do not need your money.

We need you to light a candle of support!

We're aiming to light at least One Million Candles by December 31, 2006.

This petition will be used to encourage governments, politicians,
financial institutions, payment organisations, Internet service providers, technology companies and law enforcement agencies to eradicate the commercial viability of online child abuse.

They have the power to work together. You have the power to get them to take action.

Please light your candle at www.lightamillioncandles.com

Together, we can destroy the commercial viability of Internet child abuse sites that are destroying the lives of innocent children.

Kindly forward this email to your friends, relatives and work colleagues so that they can light a candle too."
