Things Would Be Different if Elvis was My Landlord
Thirty Helens agree that Joe's new Kids in the Hall first season DVD is hours and hours of hilarity! I'm trying to save up for The Office first and second seasons and My Name is Earl first season. Why are seasons so expensive?
In the words of Joe Walsh, life's been good to me so faaaar. Been keeping myself busy, thus explaining why I rarely update. I still work at Thomas Dining, and I just joined an organization called Best Buddies. Starting in October I will be paired up with a mentally challanged memeber of the community and write or call him or her once a week, plus take them out twice a month. It's usually something simple, like a trip to a fast food resturaunt or shopping. We also will have socials every month, this one being a Halloween party. I'm looking forward to it :o) Classes haven't been bad either.
I haven't been exactly taking care of myself though. I've already been sick twice this year. I partied until 6 AM on Friday and 5 AM Saturday. Definitely can't do that every weekend. Though partying has been great this year. I've been seeing a lot of the Worden and Lauren, and of course they're great. There have also been a lot of parties at Poggi's kick ass house, where 7 people including his girlfriend (a total doll) live. I've been much more social this year, hanging out with people outside of Joe's circle of friends. As much as I love those guys, I need other friends too. I'm very happy with the people I've been hanging out with.
OMG a kitty just came up to my window and stared at me! I said "Hi Kitty!" and walked toward the window and he/she ran away. I miss my kitties so much :o( I got to see them along with Ed and the family two weeks ago. We went shopping downtown Chicago and it was a lot of fun.
