2010
It is now 2010 and almost 2011. I had a great year in 2009. 2010 however was filled with some challenges. The company I worked for and was very happy with went though some mergers and I got let go. I found another job with another company and made more then I had ever imagined making. That company went though downsizing and I once again got let go. So I spent some time making ends meat for my family by a bunch of different jobs.
My daughter is now 2. I’m back to climbing the corporate ladder.
I did however get married like I had hoped on November 7, 2009. It was a beautiful day the temp was around 70 and it was a beautiful clear day.
Seven months later my wife left me.
Sometimes life deals us curveballs but it is up to us to decide what to do with the pitch. Some things about 2009 didn’t stick and a great deal of things from 2010 didn’t stick. But the best part is my daughter is here. I never imagined I would be so happy as I am with her.
Helena is the light of the world.
To everything else I say. I own my own home, I love my daughter, I experienced love and loss, I have many friends, I once again have a career and I'm working on figuring it all out.
to my friends I say: Never thing you know the end result. It's ok for life to take you on a whirlwind. Go for the ride and enjoy every moment. Most of all it is up to you to define reality.
