Mixed Evening
Just got home from gaming with friends. There is a game shop in Augusta where people gather at and game on Sundays. I haven;t played TALISMAN in forever. LOOOVED it! Used the new boxed set with the mminiatures and cards expansion pack and just had a great time.
Then had a bit of a shock.
Found out that a friend of mine (I'll call him John), about two weeks ago, went home very drunk one night to a roomie in a crabby mood.
He went to his room and cranked up the tv and stereo.
Roomie knocked on the door to tell him to turn it down.
John gets his gun and shoots through the door, shooting roomie in the head.
Killing him.
John passes out and the police come and take him away... still passed out.
Wakes up the next day in hospital, strapped down and believes he is on a suicide watch.
Had NO idea what he had done or what was happening.
He is, of course, now under arrest for murder.
Not sure quite what to make of all of this...
John had had some anger issues in the past and I had seen him when he was pissed off, but I had no idea he would or COULD do anything like this.
Still kinda stunned really.
