1. What did you do in 2003 that you'd never done before?

got a job. build a church.

2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?

i didn't make one. i think it will be to join a pilates class; to not ignore old friends.

6. What would you like to have in 2004 that you lacked in 2003?

my own apartment. a boyfriend (okay- i had one. mikey.) a real faith. a functional cd player. a life-sized cardboard cutout of John Stamos during the mullet years.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?

building a church. starting to figure myself out. expanding my view.

9. What was your biggest failure?

losing my faith.

not to an extreme, except like, last weekend.

shoes from china town, christmas presents, harry potter 5, indian food

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?

emily. i'm really proud of her and mike. ioanna. she and I had a lot of really good talks. I found out a lot about my family and about myself because of my sister. zoe. for being my counselor at camp-because it was way more than just that. jim hanisian. for explaining to me why i love God. dash. for that seminar and life being okay. greear. for being her and that being enough sometimes.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?

my mom. the whole "clean-up nancy" thing. that wasn't fun. i know she meant well but... i mean- it worked. i care way more about what i look like now.

14. Where did most of your money go?

christmas. Amol India.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?

marching band. boys. the low brass hoodie. Mayfest.

17. i had band rehersal. i marched in circles to practice for a parade.

having a better faith life. remembering why.

Nobody deserves anything, good or bad. It's alright to be upset sometimes, and it's even okay to let that affect other people because that means they care. I don't have to always be happy. There is always something you can learn from what happens.
