Good times at the office
So...I have a feeling working with my Mom this summer is going to be quite entertaining. We definitely have fun together. Anyway, I'm like a legit person here! I have a cubicle, and my own phone, and voicemail, and my own keycard! Oh yeah, desk job extraordinaire. And the people here are very nice and I'm actually working on some interesting projects (or at least those that i know what the work I'm doing is ultimately going toward. Day two, lookin' good.
otherwise this summer should be pretty fun. i've already seen the Weepies in concert (which was SOOO good, 4 feet away, gettin' teary eyed at a couple songs, they were so laid back, so genuine, just normal people playing music they love, rich stuff). And then this coming Thursday i'm seeing Imogen Heap in Chi-town which should prove interesting at the least. I loved her music in Frou frou and so far she hasn't disappointed going solo (yeah I just got caught updating my livejournal at work...yipes)
Okay, finishing up, I'm so excited--but I'm seeing Guster this summer!! Yay! I was only able to get my sister to agree to come because Ray LaMontagne is opening...haven' theard of him. whatever, I'm so stoked!
