Curriculum in Early Childhood-Who friggin knows? I have to do 3 cite visits to child care centers, a powerpoint presentation, and visit families or something? Who knows?
*Reading Methods 1- Group project due around November 14. We have to create a poster project and write a 3-5 page paper.
*Social Studies Methods- Only a 10-week course, but the HEAVIEST courseload here. I have to create a two-week unit. I'm probably going to do the Civil War. I have to decorate a box and include all the things I would use in my lessons, including at least 10 lesson plans. (kill me now)
*Math Methods 1- Create a Learning Center with 5 activities, integrating arts, music, language arts, science, etc into 2 of them
Language Arts Methods-TBA
Art Methods-TBA
*all due within 2 weeks of one another.
Excuse me as I jump off the bridge now. Some of these projects aren't that bad, just time-consuming. And multiple time-consuming projects at the same time=no sleep. I'm trying to get a head start on them, but my professors aren't exactly giving lots of info out now. I'm going to ambush them after classes and make them explain EXACTLY what they want so I can start, otherwise, they will all explain them in like 3 weeks, about a week and a half before they are all due! These projects are just my course projects, I still have reading and other crap to do too. I wish I had never transferred, if I had just started here right out of high school, I wouldn't feel like I was playing catch-up for every class. Oh well, only 100 days until Christmas Break!
