Some people you consider friends are never really friends at all. When they do things at your expense, thinking only about themselves, those are not friends. They are people you can trust, if most of the time have your best interest at hand unless sarcastically noted. They do not steal, they do not lie, and they certainly do not betray your trust. Recently I opened my doors to two friends I confided a lot of trust in, two friends who I thought would do the right thing not to make me look foolish or betray me in front of some of my other best friends. I was wrong, they went the opposite way for their own cheap laughs. And I will tell you now, I will never again open my doors to these two people again and I don't know how I could have considered them friends when they did what they did. And I think they know who they are, and realize that they had the audacity to lie to my face and not to be honest with me. These people... they are not friends.
A little venting on what friends should be. Like trout, I'm out... paaeeaaccee...
