(no subject)
Not wholly sure what I think of the new Paddy album yet, but I probably haven't listened to it enough. The tracks that've been hyped up the most I don't seem to be warming to at all. I mean, 'Magpie'? Just, no. But, er, other than that, 'Accident & Emergency' is obviously brilliant, and I like 'Augustine' a great deal, and 'Get Lost' too (but that's probably because it's rather reminiscent of The Cure's 'Boys Don't Cry', non?)
Anyway. I am stuck in my room and not too happy about it. Alright, well, I could leave if I wanted to, but our scary cleaner is running riot downstairs and as I'm feeling rather rough I don't wish to have her screeching at me first thing. Oh, it's a hard life, etc etc. But yeah, I thought hey, a New Year, some ego petting/fretting might be in order, so, er...
