Back from AZ
...(and post nap-time)...I'm still tired. And old. OMFG.
The con was good. Nice and relaxing, not alot program wise that was too interesting for us, but we managed. The cosplay left a LOT to be desired. I liked two skits. One because of the audio source. Let's put the fork in the garbage disposal And the other ..I believe the series was Soul Eater (WTF TADPOLE! XD)... crazy props and such, lol. The rest of it SUCKED. I'm sure that was because it was A. Death Note, and much as I LOVE D.N. they're kicking a dead horse, please do something else? And the others either didn't get a fair shot because of problems with the sound system or because I had NO IDEA WTF was even going on/there was NO PLOT. *face palm* I don't mind dance skits, they can be really good. But dude, I can watch the PV online, don't just get on stage and re-enact it for me, because I really don't find it that interesting.....be a little bit more original than that. *I* could have gotten up there and completely done the dance for a video I saw for the first time on THURSDAY.
The Concert was -fantastical-. I wasn't expecting..well..anything. We had time before dinner so we went. I had heard none of their music and knew nothing about them other than that they dressed up and reminded me of Psycho le Cemu. But man, I'm so glad we went. They had pretty good music and a few songs I -really- liked...and the band was just uber adorable and very entertaining. It was like watching the Power Rangers on crack, singing and flailing around. In the best of ways. LOL. Angel-Taka was ADORABLE. ADORABLE I SAY. And seriously, the 'names' for their positions in the band? PRICELESS. Super Vibrator Kyou?! WTFWIINNN!
Kelly and I decided to check out the 'rave'. Wow. That shit makes me feel OLD AS HELL. Also, I've never in my life had to fend off that many underage boys/creepy fan-things as I did at that rave. O___O But there were glow sticks. And a Big Daddy. and LeDouche. Yeah.
I'm going to sleep now. Our hotel room was hot as balls all weekend so I got NO sleep. And I have cosplay to plot tomorrow...... -__- G'night.
P.S. I somehow forgot to mention the best moment of the WHOLE WEEKEND! i fail!
But yeah. Riding the rickshaw through the McDonald's drive-thru. EPIC WIN.
